Great News Microsoft activated the windows! So the transfer of files back to the server computer has already started!

All server parts arrived at the dealer, except the motherboard, what this means is that he has started to put new parts into the server just waiting on the motherboard for the final piece!

Good News or Bad News its your choice on how to take it! The new motherboard is ordered, This will increase performance for the server. Only thing is waiting for it. The time it takes to get here is currently unknown to me it was ordered a few days ago so should not be to much longer!

Well I got word yesterday that we will be waiting on a few parts for the server box! Some of these parts are going to increase stability and make it run faster and smoother!
Once these parts are in place we will be able to complete setup! We did manage to get all the files off the box though windows corrupted. In further news, The client is ready just not for download!
Once the server is back up I will finish up the few last tests on the server and we will be going live / open beta for further testing!

Well I have some bad news! A install on the server box crashed! (windows ofcourse) Therefor it will be a bit more time to get everything going!

Most of the things that are going on!
1. HyperV (for those who don't know what this is. Its a program to save an exact copy of whats happening on the server every time the box is restarted!)
2. Security (the security on the server box itself and the security of the pages need to be flawless to prevent hacking of the box)
3. Client (client registries setup correctly want to be able to connect the server! LoL Also made major changes to the client registry so no other client will conflict with RYL BL!)
4. Website (face lifts and some suprizes)
5. Testing (testing the client connections and server connections)

Well I have received what the page links are going to be for the signup page and Change Password page, What this means is that I can finish the client! So once I finish the client I will be uploading it. However I will not release the client till the pages are up and working correctly. This is 1 step closer to bring Battle Lohan LIVE!

Yes, I'm sorry to say that we are still behind with getting the server up and live.
We are trying our best to get through all that needs to be done. There is a lot more to complete before we can put it up safely.
Our aim is to bring you a bug-free and hacker-free game to play and in order to accomplish this goal we are using measures not normally used. This means more time is needed to get things rolling but we are nearly there!

I got called back early to work yesterday to move equipment so I did not have time to fully set up the server however, I did get all the files over to dauntless. (Darkwarr)Well it is true I go back to work Monday! However I right now as I type this am getting the server setup for WAN connection. The download link will be up in the next few hours as it takes a while to upload the client! The server should be live TOMORROW if no complications arise!

Yes, it's been a long time since we started our project. We've been extremely busy with the server. A major update was necessary before we could think of putting the server up. So I got the conficker worm virus that is spreading like wild fire. I have lost everything all my backups all my work, GONE. In this case it seems like a sign,

The connection lines should be moved within the week. So hopefully if these are moved we can see a Open Beta by this weekend. I will be finishing the open beta client.

Well with just a few bugs left we are on the the way to getting the server to you, Dauntless our host is in the process of moving again so we can not bring it up at this moment. I have been still working on other things though, I have started the quest script but having some issues deciding what quests I want to make.

I would like to ask you all that are here to please stick with us as we want things done right and not partial, The adding of Arena is complete. All is working. Yes I do keep working on my local server to bring updates before and not long after the opening of RYL BL.

Yes, I know that the road to BL has been up and down. With many things going right while other things not so well. Though I keep working on this to bring you the most updated Battle Lohan server I can.

Here is the news, With this Dagger Bug issue I can't see putting the server up only to have people leave due to issues like this. I don't want to put up a 90 percent finished server.
I am looking at putting up a Open beta with the bugs till I can solve this issue. However after this issue is solved
there will be a wipe of the server. This will be to start everyone fresh.

Added a few items from official to Battle Lohan. Gloves, Boots, Pants and Arms are some of the char look.
I also added Rings and Necks to the item list.

Added a picture gallery to the forums where I will put up some screen shots to see some progress.

We have now closed the Closed Beta Applications pending the server going live.

We have now started Closed Beta Testing as of 0600hrs GMT(+0).
It's currently going very well although it has only been up a few hours.
We still have spots available on the CBT if you are interested in helping test, sign up in our forums and follow the instructions in the relevant thread.

It's taken a while to get the server up and running. There's been many issues that have come up to deal with but we assure you that we are right on track and are making every effort to get all issues resolved so that you will be able to get in game.
We do understand that the time frame for the server going live has been pushed back farther and we appreciate your patience.
This isn't the first game to have problems being released, and I'm sure you'll agree that it won't be the last. We're asking you to bear with us for a little while longer so we can iron out what we have to, to bring you a dedicated and long-term server.

Well, as you can see we are not yet ready to host the game. It's unfortunate we didn't get the server up on the 1st January but we did make every effort to see this through. Regrettably, real life issues do come into play and must take precedence.
We are under way though and may have a dedicated host already arranged. We're in the process of testing right now but will let you know more details on our forums so don't forget to visit and register!
